Description

This 1957 Chevy Bel Air is a classic tri-five Chevrolet that was fully restored in 2018. The 2-door hardtop is a perfect example of a Chevrolet icon - strikingly original with strategic upgrades. The 2-stage Cool Vanilla exterior (Chrysler color) was professionally sprayed and is in excellent condition. All deluxe chrome/stainless is in excellent condition. Front bumper guards and Bel Air 'gold accent' trim pieces complete the stunning exterior package. Boss chrome alloy wheels (18x7'f/20x8”r) mount Ironman performance radial tires. The only thing that rivals the exterior is the completely restored red/black interior. Every detail has been addressed. Door cards, dash, headliner – everything is outstanding. The factory gauge cluster has been replaced with a Dakota Digital analog gauge package and a tilt wheel assembly mounts a custom alloy wheel. Sounds are provided by an aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette stereo system. Upgraded two-speed electric wipers have also been fitted.

Under the classic hood sits a new 350ci GM crate motor that is the 'Heartbeat' of this Chevrolet. It is equipped with a polished aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor, MSD ignition and hydraulic CompCam w/260 degree duration. Cooling is managed by an aluminum radiator and front-mounted electric fan. Exhaust is routed through Chevy 'rams-horn' exhaust manifolds to a mellow dual exhaust system. The alternator, starter, and all belts were replaced. The entire fuel system from tank to carb is also new. Behind this Mighty Mouse, sits a new 350 Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic w/floor mounted Lokar 'street rod' shifter. A new flywheel and 2400/2600 stall torque convertor were also installed along with new driveshaft/u-joints/diff yokes. The chassis was completely upgraded with all new front suspension components including springs, A-arms and power steering box/pump. A HD front sway bar has been installed. Brakes are power-assisted disc/drum w/dual master cylinder. This beautiful '57 Bel Air hardtop has been driven less than 1,900 miles since restoration. It is a showroom piece that belongs in your Bowtie garage.
