The styling of the first generation Mustang with its long hood and short deck proved wildly popular and inspired generations of 'Pony' cars. This handsome 1966 Mustang coupe was the beneficiary of a partial restoration in 2010. The solid body was reshot in factory Arcadian Blue (F code) and chrome is in very good condition. Factory 14” steel wheels w/Mustang wire wheel covers mount Goodyear whitewall radial tires. The 'Luxury Pony' interior package (62 code) is believed to be the original Blue/White vinyl upholstery. There also is a center console w/shifter, complete set of factory analogue gauges, classic 3-spoke wheel, 'wood' dash accent panels and Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette sound system for your tunes. This Mustang was a 289/2V 'C' code from the factory. It is said to have never required a rebuild, runs extremely well and looks classy with a chrome dress-up package. Additional information from the factory trim tag indicates that the 3-speed automatic transmission is a C4 unit and differential gearing is 3.50:1 (code 6). The chassis is fitted with manual steering, manual 4-wheel drum brake w/dual master cylinder, dual exhaust and front shock tower brace. This is a very nice '66 Mustang, a fine example of an enduring classic that you can enjoy for many years.
